The protagonist in this photo is Angelino Zeller – the world champion of paraclimbing.

 

The picture shows Angelino "freeing" himself from his wheelchair while climbing. This image by the Austrian photographer Lex Karelli was created without photomontage. It is a long exposure with double flash. It is part of photo series which was done during the Corona period, when the climbing halls were closed. As a professional athlete, Angelino had access to the bouldering hall.
