Another workshop of ART WITHOUT LIMIT – similar to the one in Pristina – took place a few days later in the city of Prizren (Kosovo).

The workshop was held from 10 am to 3 pm in the building of the Resource Center for Learning and Counseling “Lef Nosi''-Prizren and 12 participants with various disabilities attended the workshop, 8 women and 4 men. The purpose of the workshop was to inform the persons with disabilities the know-how about documentary film and how to advocate of their decision-making rights through art in general, specifically through film.

The opening of the workshop was done by the executive director Mrs. Ganimete Sava, then according to the agenda, the topics that were lectured in this one-day workshop were:

Shqipe Malushi (screenwriter):

"The Power of Change is in Our Hands"

Michael Stoeger (director/cinematographer):

"Reality and Images & Storytelling in Film"

Burim Haliti (director/producer):

"From the Idea to Filmmaking"

Ganimete Sava (scenographer and costume designer):

"Scenography, and Costumes as an Integral Part of the Film"

All four parts of the workshop were interactive, creative, and inclusive since the topics were taught through the method of conversation, all participants contributed by sharing with others their positive, successful stories in their lives and expressing their thoughts with a lot of enthusiasm. They were ready to contribute in any way and form to the mission already launched by the NGO "ART WITHOUT LIMIT".  Participants enjoyed the workshop, were happy to see the trainers and learn new topics. They left smiling and hoping that there will be more workshops like this.

We are grateful to Resource Center for Learning and Counseling “Lef Nosi'' for inviting us to perform our workshop on their premises in Prizren, Kosovo.

“This should happen more often!”
